I don't understand the point of Pltts. The top 20 colours are just ColourLovers top 20 colours. Why not browse ColourLovers that has the exact same stuff, plus much MUCH more?

This works for me with my first gen 15" Retina. This also happened to me at https://optin.stopwatching.us/, and I assumed it was exploiting some kind of bug with fullscreen for an intentional effect. I am using an external 20" older generation Apple display.

It wasn't intentional. I'm not on the team working on stopwatching.us, but I had the issue and wanted to get to the bottom of this.

I agree with a lot in this post. It doesn't happen all the time, but if I can I prefer to present without slides at all.

It is a nice looking theme but it has the same problem that Metro has: there isn't anything indicating what is clickable and what is not.

Any tile should be clickable in a Windows 8 Application. The problem is that it looks like Metro but it doesn't respect its guidelines.

Yeah. In Metro, it's fairly obvious what's clickable.

Also no affordance for the inactive buttons. They're just slightly muted versions of regular buttons.

I agree. I find that the buttons don't "afford" clicking at all.

Makes sense, but I doubt many of them operate the built-in keyboard with the lid closed :). Ignoring the keyboard input in this case would be a cheap "fix".

Yes, but most crucially, they don't turn it on with the lid closed.

Open the lid, turn it on, closes the lid.

Should be fun to try to power an older MB with the lid closed to see what happens.

Palm devices used a stylus and had text input via a special language at the bottom of the screen. How is this remotely related to the Samsung/Apple patent issues at hand?
